Raya joins DIFF for the 10th Edition

Dubai, September 8th, 2013: Celebrity journalist, TV presenter and producer Raya Abi Rached joins Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) for the 10th edition of the Festival, which takes place from December 6th to 14th, 2013. The MBC presenter who is the host of TV show Scoop and the hit TV talent show Arabs Got Talent will come on board to present the opening and closing ceremonies.

Raya is a perfect addition to DIFF's red carpet having graced some of the biggest events of the entertainment calendar year including the Oscars, Golden Globes, SAGs and BAFTAs, Grammys and Brits as well as Cannes, Berlin and Venice Film Festivals. Her hugely popular weekly celebrity movie show Scoop has seen her interview some of the biggest celebrities in the world.

As DIFF prepares for the decennial edition, Shivani Pandya, Managing Director said: “We look forward to welcoming Raya to the team when we roll out the carpet for our 10th year to celebrate the richness of Arab cinema and beyond.
