98.8% average delivery time estimate accuracy and over 90% success in delivery on the first attempt throughout 2021

May 23, 2022: Emirates Post, the official postal operator and leading express provider in the UAE, has been awarded the ‘Amazon Best Carrier of the Year 2021’ in MENA region by Amazon, the company’s last-mile delivery solution partner.

The award comes in recognition of Emirates Post’s service, performance, collaboration, and transparency, in addition to the ease of communication between the dedicated teams at Emirates Post and Amazon. It also reaffirms the company’s mission to contribute to the growth of the e-commerce industry in the region.

Ritesh Somani, Director – Supply Chain, Amazon MENA said, “We are pleased to announce Emirates Post as the first winner of Carrier of the Year Award in the Middle East and North Africa. Emirates Post’s focus on diligent planning and execution combined with their quick responsiveness to changes in demand has helped achieve our customers’ expectations in 2021. We congratulate Emirates Post, and we look forward to increasing collaboration in this strategic partnership. It is still Day One!”

Stephen Stanton, Chief Business Officer, Parcels & Express at Emirates Post said, “Emirates Post has always worked to ensure that it provides transparent, efficient, and convenient services. We are extremely honored to have been awarded the ‘Amazon Best Carrier of the Year 2021’ in the MENA region. It is a testament to our exceptional service performance and to the team’s hard work. Amazon and Emirates Post have always been proud of our ability to collaborate and communicate efficiently as a team, ensuring that our customers receive only the best services. We are committed to further exceeding these expectations in the future.”

Emirates Post has demonstrated its resilience by maintaining its strong performance even during peak volume times. The company’s ability to scale up by anticipating the required capacity and resources months in advance has allowed for consistent and uncompromised services to customers. It has also ensured regular business operation reviews and maintained a continuous channel of open communication to help overcome any challenges.

Emirates Post’s extensive network, last-mile capabilities, and a ‘Customer First’ mantra among the workforce have been integral to its optimal performance. These have also been instrumental in enabling the company to achieve its key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring customer satisfaction and the safety of all delivery crew. Emirates Post has been a driving force behind Amazon’s growth in the region, with a 98.8 per cent average delivery time estimate accuracy and over 90 per cent success in delivery on the first attempt throughout 2021.

Emirates Post is currently working towards launching a number of initiatives and solutions to further strengthen growth of the partnership with Amazon.
