Five days of free festivities highlight Emirati culture and tradition Dubai, 21 November 2018: Ibn Battuta Mall will celebrate the 47th UAE National Day with a range of traditional Emirati festivities and cultural activities from 29 November to 3 December to honour the nation’s glorious history. The highlight will be a special majlis installation at India Court featuring Arabic calligraphers, falconers and henna artists, offering a glimpse into the UAE’s rich cultural heritage. Visitors will be welcomed with Arabic coffee and dates, the essence of UAE hospitality, and children will be entertained with fun face painting sessions. Adding to the jubilant atmosphere, there will be traditional Ayala dance roaming performances by Emirati artists at Ibn Battuta Mall. Timings: The majilis is open from 4pm to 8pm on 29 and 30 November and on 1 and 3 December; on 2 December it will open from 2pm to 10pm. Ayala roaming performances will take place from 2pm to 9pm on 2 December.
