In advance of the resort’s premier later this year, W Dubai - The Palm has been activating its Talent search for 500 W-minded individuals, including its search for the iconic global roles of the W Insider and W Music Curator. In its search for a team that fuses the W passion with Dubai’s melting pot of cultures, W Dubai - The Palm have looked globally from destinations around the world for applicants that reflect the W attitude, experience and lust for life by being bold, expressive, spontaneous and passionate. The successful applicants that will be joining the W Dubai - The Palm opening team later this year must truly live the W Brand through its passion points of fashion, music, design and fuel. THE W INSIDER W Dubai - The Palm has recently found its W Insider, Sitora Skudutis - who will connect global jetsetters and local tastemakers to what’s the next big thing in Dubai, revealing the hottest design, fashion and music experiences. Sitora will play a vital role at W Dubai - The Palm, ensuring that guests are given W Insider access to the newest and latest through her network whilst anticipating and uncovering what will WOW the guest. Sitora was selected from over 170+ candidates, based on embodying the passion and flair of both the W brand and the vibrancy of Dubai - as well as being one of the most connected people in the city. THE W MUSIC CURATOR The W Dubai - The Palm has also shortlisted top contenders for the highly coveted role of W Music Curator. Alongside becoming the Resident DJ at W Dubai - The Palm, the W Music Curator will also be responsible for programming & event organization as well as bringing new/next acts in the world of music and entertainment to the Palm Jumeirah. With a Spin-Off that took place on 11th February with a panel of judges including co-founder of Dance FM, Theo Makris, W Dubai - The Palm will pick the hottest Talent as the latest member of the team. As part of the broader talent search, W Dubai - The Palm will host an Open Casting in Dubai on 19th February at BASE Dubai from 10.00am - 7.00pm: a day-long activation looking to recruit talent for 500 roles, across all departments. For those further afield who are unable to attend the Dubai Open Casting, applicants can submit their CV online by searching “W Dubai - The Palm”. The Talent Recruitment efforts, headed up by Director of Talent Nicola Bean, has already completed its overseas recruitment in countries including Ukraine, Belarus, Spain, South Africa, Georgia and Serbia earlier this year. Owned by Al Sharq Investments, the iconic W Dubai - The Palm will house 350 sea-facing guest rooms and suites, mixing and mingling between the city and the sea, and will be located on the West Crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah.
