Dubai, UAE - Recognized for his hard work and unique skills, Mohammed Febin Basheer an Alumnus of Al Noor Training Centre received an award from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai. The Award was from the “Dubai Government Excellence Program” under the category of “Unknown Soldier” which took place on 25th Aril 2017 in Dubai, UAE. Mohammed Febin is a young man of 27 years from India who was a former student of Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities. Through the Work Placement Program of the Centre, he is currently employed at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce from May 2009 in the Legal Services Department by providing them clerical support. He joined the Centre in 2005 in the Senior boys Unit and spent 4 years at Al Noor where he received holistic training through trans-disciplinary approach in academics, computer, art and craft, music, dance, sports, swimming, gym, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and vocational training in Wood Design Technology, Printing Technology and Bakery and Confectionary. He was enrolled in the Work Placement Unit in 2008 where his training focused on developing skills in the domain of Life Skills, Work Habits and Office Skills. He also took Work Experience in Holiday Inn Downtown and Emirates Environmental Group before joining Dubai Chamber of Commerce. “On behalf of Al Noor, I extend our warmest congratulations to Mohammed Febin for receiving the “Unknown Heroes” award.
