More than 500 Cricket Fans from the Middle East are expected to audition on the 25th February for the 4th season of COLORS Cricquiz across the Middle East

UAE, 19th February 2016:  Indiacast is bringing back COLORS CricQuiz to the TV screens for the fourth consecutive year. COLORS CricQuiz is considered as the most definitive cricket quizzing championship on television in the region. The show challenges & tests the knowledge of the smartest and most ardent cricket enthusiasts. The auditions will take place on Saturday, 25th February 2017 between 11am to 1pm at Horizon International School, off Al Wasl Road, Umm Al Sherif, Dubai. The winning team will receive a dream come true all-expense paid trip to the Lord’s Cricket Stadium in London.

UAE Residents above the age of 18 can test their knowledge by registering themselves in teams of two. No registration fee will be charged to participate in this competition. 

 “At IndiaCast, we relentlessly work towards creating content that is sought after by our local audiences. Middle East region has a huge population of cricket fanatics; the passion for cricket amongst South Asian expats in this region is enormous and requires no explanation. We had received an overwhelming response at the COLORS CricQuiz 2016 auditions last year with more than 400 fans queuing up. We are confident that we will get an even higher response this year considering this is the only local Cricket TV Quiz Show for the real cricket fans in this region”, said Sachin Gokhale, Senior VP and Business Head - Middle East, Africa and APAC.

“On ground auditions are also one of the key ways for us to interact and engage with our viewers and understand their tastes likes and dislikes better”, adds Sachin.

The preliminary round will be written test consisting of 20 questions and the top fifteen teams with the highest scores will be shortlisted. The eight-week contest will see some of UAE’s most passionate fans of the sport test their knowledge against each other. Contestants have to be a legal resident of UAE and above 18 years of age.
