Over the past few weeks an elite panel of judges have been evaluating a record number of nominations for a total of 19 different categories for The Maritime Standard Awards 2016. It has been hard job to whittle this down to a short list, but they have done so. The standard of entries was extremely high, and all of those who entered should be commended for their excellent submissions The categories than have been judged are Classification Society, Marine Broker, Marine Insurer, Maritime Law Firm, Port, Ship Agency, Ship Manager, Shipowner/operator, Shipping Company, Shipyard, Tanker Operator and Terminal Operator of the year, as well as awards for Corporate Social Responsibility, Green Shipping, Maritime Training and Education, Safety, Sustainable Development, Technology and Innovation and Maritime Security. The finalists in these various categories can now be revealed.
