~ No reservations required, just show up and you’ll be greeted with a hug ~ Dubai, UAE, September 14, 2016: Govinda’s, a pure Vegetarian Indian restaurant that was established 15 years ago in Dubai is located in Karama district. The restaurant has recently opened their second branch in Jumeirah; a contemporary set up of Govinda’s original concept, serving Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisine. On September 15, 7pm onwards, The Goodwill Tribe will be surprising guests at Govinda’s (Jumeirah Beach Road branch) by turning the restaurant into a Karma Kitchen. Karma Kitchen is an experiment in generosity where volunteers take over a restaurant and meals are served without a price tag and with lots of love. Karma Kitchen is designed to spark moments of human connection and to deepen values of generosity and kindness within ourselves and within the community. Imagine walking into a restaurant to be greeted with warmth, smiles and hugs from volunteers who have taken time out just because they want to reach out, serve and connect with you. Imagine being presented with a menu that has no price tags on it. Karma Kitchen is about creating new possibilities for how we connect with each other and for how we practice generosity in our every day lives.
