UAE, March 2, 2016- His Excellency (H.E.) Dr Mohammad Salim Al Olama, The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHP), recently held a ceremony honoring the employees who have rendered 35 years of service to the Ministry. The ceremony was in line with the Ministry’s efforts to recognize and honor the loyal and dedicated years of service of these valuable employees to the UAE and the MoHP, while inspiring the new generation employees to follow these role models. 

During the ceremony, five employees, one each from Dubai Medical District - School of Health, Fujairah Medical Zone - Dibba Hospital, Sharjah Medical Zone - Kalba Hospital, Al Baraha Hospital and Ajman Medical Zone Compound, were presented with custom-made tokens of recognition, which were personally signed by H.E. Abdul Rahman Bin Mohammed Al Owais, The Minister, MoHP. 

The Minister said, “We are proud of your long and dedicated service to the Ministry, which is similar to that of the unknown soldiers in the march towards excellence and you are role models for the new generation employees. We commend you for your exemplary service, it reflects our conviction that human resource is the real capital to be invested in. The Ministry holds this recognition ceremony annually to honor the efforts of our employees, to encourage them to raise the bar of performance, and to help them achieve the goals and objectives set forth by the MoHP.” 

The MoHP Minister further mentioned that the Ministry is committed to supporting and retaining their employees as they are partners in the Ministry’s success, who facilitate the incorporation and implementation of organizational excellence while providing the best medical and preventive services for the community. 

Apart from the annual recognition programs, the Ministry has also implemented other programs and initiatives that aim to improve the performance of employees like grade promotions and bonuses to help them achieve the requirements of happiness in their lives.
