Celebrity Badminton League Announces Star-studded Team Composition

• The CBL which will be held in Dubai on January 29th 2016 at an Indoor Stadium will feature four different teams namely Chennai Eagles, Falcon Fires, Naturals Peacock and CRV Pelicans.
• Each team will comprise of 10 leading actors from Indian Regional Film Fraternity including a captain.
• The captains of the 4 teams are leading actors from the Indian Regional Film Fraternity including Arun Vijay, Jayam Ravi, Meena and Bharath.

Dubai, UAE, January 14, 2016:  Sports and Movies are the two magic words that define entertainment for every UAE resident. And when they join hands, there is nothing like it. Seeking inspiration from the above, a recent conference marked the launched of Celebrity Badminton League (CBL). The CBL which will be held in Dubai on January 29th 2016 at an Indoor Stadium will feature four different teams namely Chennai Eagles, Falcon Fires, Naturals Peacock and CRV Pelicans. Each team will comprise of 10 leading actors from Indian Regional Film Fraternity including a captain.

Arun Vijay is the captain of Chennai Eagles. A complete actor, playback singer and stunt coordinator Arun is a talented participant and contains a big fan club not only in India but also across the world. Commenting on his captainship, Arun, the captain of Chennai Eagles said, “I am extremely happy to be spearheading the team. We have a good composition of players and I am confident that we are capable of winning the League.”

Contested by leading actors of Indian Regional Film Fraternity, The CBL is a non-professional League that is created for fun and entertainment. It will cater to all competitive opportunities to identify and encourage a new league of aspiring Celebrity Players. Master Blaster and Cricket Maestro Mr. Sachin Tendulkar has been a driving force in the launch of CBL. The Indian cricket icon will join the regional superstars on the D-day to support and encourage the players. He will also felicitate the winners and inspire them with his speech.

To be held on 29th January 2016, the grand finale of the Celebrity Badminton League is expected to witness 3000 and more audience. Following the prize distribution and award ceremony, a musical evening will be hosted at Zabeel Park featuring a power-packed performance by singing whiz Mr. Yuvan Shankar Raja. The musical saga will be an evening to remember catering to more than 10,000 audiences.

“We have an excellent team with the right composition of players. While we will play the game, there is no way we are competing with each other. We are instead looking at complementing each other,” said, Bharath, an established Tamil actor who is essaying the role of a captain for CRV Pelicans.
