International School of Arts & Science Offers Enhanced E-Services for Parents

School community members stay up-to-date with the “icampus app”

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (August 24, 2015): In its efforts to ensure that parents are kept well-informed about their children’s activities and can monitor their progress at school, International School of Arts and Sciences (ISAS), managed by the leading academic solutions provider Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), has taken steps to improve and develop the online services it provides to parents and students.

“Parents play an essential role in their children’s education. Since its inception, the ISAS communication portal has been reviewed and revamped to suit the requirements and keep pace with changing technology. Both parents and students can access the site with login details provided by the school. Some of the main services provided to both students and parents include:

• Campus Key - a one-card solution that serves as a student ID for any school transactions and as a debit card for purchases at school
• Calendar (a weekly planner/agenda) - Parents can view their children’s homework, quizzes, and classwork
• KG Cam - Parents of kindergarten students can now monitor their child while in the classroom by watching a live broadcast as per a set schedule
• Report Card - Parents can now view their children’s report card prior to receiving the printed copy
• Lessons Online - Students and parents can review the class lessons, so your child never misses a lesson again.
• Attendance - Each child’s attendance can be monitored and checked by parents
• Exam Schedule - provides parents with a details about upcoming exams schedule and requirements
• Bus Locator - Parents can track the location of the school bus if their children use the service

With the increase in reliability on smart phones and tablets, ISAS, with collaboration of InterConnect - AMSI preferred ICT service provider, stepped up its efforts and recently introduced the ‘icampus app’, which enables parents to stay connected by receiving immediate notifications.
