New York, July 23, 2015 — Tory Burch, Chairman, CEO and designer of Tory Burch LLC, celebrated the launch of the company’s Paris flagship and the brand’s expansion in France with a special event on Tuesday evening. The evening began with a cocktail party and included such guests as Melanie Laurent, Jessica Alba, Emmanuelle Seigner, Dianna Agron, Lolita Chammah, Natalia Vodianova, Valeria Golino, and key tastemakers such as Anna dello Russo, Lee Radziwill, and Clotilde de Kersauson at the three-story boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré. While exploring the 4,200-square-foot retail space, guests enjoyed canapés, signature cocktails, including Tory’s favorite Southside, and music by Louise Chen, DJ and founder of the all-female music collective ‘Girls Girls Girls’ based in Paris. Following the in-store event, Tory, along with Giambattista Valli, Olivier Rousteing, Bruno Frisoni, Lauren Santo Domingo, Alex & Sofia Sanchez de Betak, Jonathan Anderson, Sarah Hoover and Tom Sachs, continued the celebration in the garden of The Hotel de Sully in the Marais. The event drew on the inspiration for the Fall 2015 collection - Marrakech meets Chelsea. Tory’s friends were transported to Tory’s Morocco inside a custom-designed Maharaja tent featuring a textile print from the Fall 2015 runway collection as well as Berber poufs, pillows, daybeds and carpets tied together with a beautiful Yves Klein blue. Amid citrus trees, antique lanterns and silver and tiled accents, they sipped Moet champagne and feasted on Moroccan cuisine by Fatéma Hal of the acclaimed restaurant La Mansouria. Original member of rap group Tribe Called Quest, Q-Tip DJ’d and Ms. Lauryn Hill took the stage for a 45-minute set, which included her classic hits, Doo-Wop from the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and Killing Me Softly. - Melanie Laurent wore the Resort 2016 Pebbled Crepe Jumpsuit and the Classic Ankle Strap Sandal. She accessorized with a custom minaudière and the Double-Horn Pendant.

The Paris flagship is Tory Burch’s first freestanding store in France and extends the brand’s growing presence in Europe, where it currently has boutiques in London, Munich, Milan, Rome and Istanbul. The company began building its business in France in 2008 through wholesale channels and in 2013. Tory Burch launched in 2004 with a small boutique in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood and the designer’s classic but bohemian aesthetic resonated with tastemakers from the very beginning. Over the past decade, the company has grown into a global brand with more than 150 boutiques around the world. Art, music, travel, interiors and the designer’s own stylish parents are inspirations for the collection.
