During the scorching summer of the UAE, such activities are not just necessary for kids to vent their energy, but also a productive way to channelize it. Moreover, the contests will allow children to experience their creative side as they give their input in fancy dresses, discover their drawing skills and discipline them while they practice singing and dance moves. “Activities like these encourage young kids to develop confidence and yet are fun enough not to bore them. They also help youngsters to hone their skills and bring to fore their hidden talents. Exciting prizes will serve as a fantastic incentive for them to do their best,” says a representative of Extreme Excite, the organizers of Kids Play Area. Sunil Jaiswal, President of event organizer Sumansa Exhibitions, said: “Ramadan Night Market is as much about kids, as it is about adults, and it is important that children’s interest should be taken care of in such events. Competitions are a great way to do that, because they not only draw everyone’s attention, but also allow children to pick and choose their area of interest and participate at all levels.” Cutting Chai will serve as the Gold Sponsor and Jet Airways as the official airline partner for this year’s event, while Physique TV is the official TV partner. Official radio partners include 89.1 Radio 4, Channel 4 FM 104.8 and Al Rabia 107.8 FM.
