When thinking emanates, knowledge is fully lit and when knowledge is lit, economy flourishes.” - A.P.J Abdul Kalam On Tuesday the 28th of October, The EO's U.A.E Chapter will be launching their first ever 'Accelerator Program', at Impact Hub, Dubai. The EO's Accelerator program, is an initiative designed to help upcoming entrepreneurs bridge obstacles that constantly fetter their growth. Through the collective experience of their established members, educational platforms, mentorship opportunities and accountability training, first-stage entrepreneurs can look to cross the highly sought after $1 million dollar mark. “ The EO's mantra has always been about growing through shared experience and the Accelerator program is a fantastic way to pay it forward, especially to those in search of credible and reassuring business guidance. As we all once were.” - Saahil Mehta, Managing Director of ResNet World, Accelerator Chair and EO Member The Accelerator program will assist budding entrepreneurs; by placing them head first in an environment carefully constructed to help them evolve. The program will provide guidance on raising capital, developing an effective corporate strategy, connecting with other grounded successful entrepreneurs and help execute a plan to grow sales. “Accelerator is a necessity for upcoming businesses, though each entrepreneurs journey is unique, there are a lot of common challenges to growth all businesses face. By being part of the accelerator program these entrepreneurs are given access to tools to face these challenges head on. The Growth-driven curriculum will consist of the following tools:
PEER-TO-PEER LEARNING Participants will be able to network with other emerging entrepreneurs as well as experienced entrepreneurs from EO who can offer lessons and insights on overcoming business and personal challenges. MENTORING Participants will be connected with an EO member that currently runs a successful business in the region. LEARNING EVENTS Through a series of learning events, some which are specifically designed for Accelerator as well as broader EO learning events, participants will have access to real life tools to improve the effectiveness of their business. ACCOUNTABILITY GROUPS Accelerator participants will be matched with other participants to form a small group known as an Accountability Group that will be overseen by an EO member. These groups will ensure that you are learning and growing as an individual, both through the learning provided in the learning events and through the interaction with your peers. Groups will be provided a framework and tools to keep in touch between meetings to help each keep on track with their committed goals.
