The property is most preferred to host delegates of large-scale sporting events

Dubai, UAE (April 21, 2014): Al Bustan Centre and Residence, the popular hotel apartments among visiting tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, was the official residence for the delegates of the IPC Powerlifting World Championships 2014, which took place at the Dubai Club for Special Sports, from 5-11 April 2014.

The tournament was hosted by the Dubai Club for the Disabled with UAE Disabled Sports Chairman, Thani Juma Berregad of the Dubai 2014 Organizing Committee. This year nearly 300 athletes from 50 countries participated in the World Championships and the winners can qualify to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre and Residence said: “We, at Al Bustan Centre and Residence, are honored to be the official residence for delegates of IPC Power-Lifting World Championships 2014. We always look for ways to get associated with Government bodies that work towards promoting sports among athletes with disabilities.”

The property’s association with Dubai Club for the Disabled is expected to boost Al Bustan Centre and Residence reputation as most favored venue to host delegates of large-scale sporting events.
