The Last 10 Days to Go Before Global Village, the Most Unique Shopping Experience in the UAE, Ends its 18th Season

Products and Pavilions to Visit In the Last 10 days before the End of Global Village’s 18th Season on 12th April, 2014

Dubai, 3 April, 2014: Global Village, Dubai’s leading family entertainment and cultural destination, has 10 days to go for visitors to buy a wide variety of products from the 30 pavilions that make Global Village such a unique shopping experience. Each country pavilion has brought authentic goods from their homelands so that visitors can experience their traditions, as well as buy products that are exclusive to Global Village, so this is the perfect time to pick up ornaments for the house and gifts for the family before the end of the season on 12th April.

Visitors who are looking for a strong cultural experience from a country should take the time to wander around the fantastic Yemeni pavilion. The mix of authentic foods and spices with the large selection of honey that is at this stall will give visitors a great chance to try authentic Yemeni honey, as well as test out all the different types of honey that a brought to the UAE.

Iranian carpets and wall hangings are a source of great delight over at the Iranian pavilion with many visitors paying the pavilion a long visit to marvel at the many authentic Iranian carpets that are on display, as well as see a carpet in the making at one of the stalls. The Iranian pavilion is also home to a large amount of saffron which can be used in cooking - for flavor and colouring - as well as a number of different rose waters.

A large amount of cashmere and silk products are on display at the Indian Pavilion. Many of these items are made by handmade, as are the authentic Indian carpets. For visitors looking for great handmade products India is the pavilion to visit.

Visitors can find olive oils in a wide variety of pavilions at Global Village, with some of the best olive oils coming from Palestine and Jordan. Some oils are unique and have spices added to them to give an extra flavor that will have visitors buying enough to get them through a year.

Authentic handmade pastas at the Italian pavilion make it one of the must visits at Global Village this season. Visitors can also find handmade masks that are beautifully hand painted and decorated with feathers and sequins. 

Visitors to Global Village can experience a unique and exciting shopping experience during the last 10 days of the season; which ends on the12th April, 2014. Families can also keep their children busy with the great rides at Mellors Group’s Fantasy Island and all the fantastic shows that will be continuing until the send of the season, like the Orbis and Level Up shows on the main stage, and the Amazing Trial Motorcycle Show. A visit to Global Village is always best rounded off with a great meal at one of 25 internationally and regionally recognized restaurants that are all available at Global Village until the 12th April.
