BRIDE Dubai 2014, UAE’s most important wedding event, kick started yesterday at the Sheikh Saeed Exhibition centre. Day 1 of the 17th edition of BRIDE Dubai witnessed an array of beautiful silhouettes and couture by known local and international designers. The show was opened by the designs of Atelier Curti, a brand name by Giada and Antonio Curti, internationally recognized and appreciated Haute Couture reality.

Atelier Curti
The catwalk showcased both Atelier Curti Bridal Collection and Giada Curti Haute Couture’s latest collection. The designs are a result of the winning combination of Giada’s fresh talent with Atelier Curti’s solid Italian craftsmanship tradition of more than 50 years. With neat cuts, rich fabrics and precious details, crystal embellished French lace with skillful tulle and tech fabrics overlapping, the collection was perfect for the opening show.
Shalky
Shalky house of fashion established by the great designer Qassem Al Qassem, creations showcased were true to his initial inspirations, where art and music are turned into style. Edgy experimentation and meticulous attention to detail defineed the excellence of a product relating to a great oriental tradition and integration between eastern and western cultures. The collection saw most coveted haute couture, as well as luxury caftans, introducing high quality fashion products with a perfect balance of fine craftsmanship by using the most luxurious fabrics such as satin , taffeta, pure chiffon and pure silk.
Fiore
Fiore by Umayah Azzouz, showcased beautiful abayas that were a perfect balance between artistic style and modern designs. Her designs clearly reflected her European taste keeping in mind the religious and traditional aspect.
Divya Oswal
The designs were crafted with an aim to create timeless, elegant and high-class luxury fashion inspired by creativity and passion.
Magura
Desinger Gulshan Ibrahimova created exclusive evening and bridal dresses that was a treat for the eyes of the audience.
