Kuwait City – Kuwait 26th March 2014 – On Wednesday, 19th of March 2014, Officine Panerai, the Renowned Italian Company, hosted an exclusive VIP and media event to celebrate the inauguration of its first boutique in Kuwait in the presence of Mr. Angelo Bonati, CEO of Officine Panerai and Mr. Ali Behbehani, President of Behbehani Group. The event was held at the Panerai Boutique located in the luxurious Al Hamra Mall, located in Sharq, the home of many of Kuwaiti’s economic leaders and one of the most significant neighborhoods of the Kuwaiti capital. The brand opened its door to over 100 watch-making connoisseurs and regional media to celebrate this special occasion, whereby they were given the opportunity to browse through the boutique, which has a floor space of over 100 sq m. In honor of its historical link with the Italian Navy, the shapes and materials recall the world of the sea: simple lines alternate with undulating wave-like structures, glass, white marble, bronze, steel and teak-wood treated to achieve an even more “nautical” appearance. A wide collection of high precision timepieces and special edition watches were on display at the centre of the boutique and in the VIP room, all of which the invitees took the time to enjoy, try on and purchase.
