Dubai UAE March 2014: The High Atlas challenge invites adventurous travellers to push themselves and reach the highest peak in North Africa ( Mount Toubkal 4167 m), explore rural High Atlas mountain region & turn around lives of rural children at the same time.

Hiking, trekking, camping near riversides & experience of living the way ancient Ait Atta monads, the 6 day trip packs a mix of adventure and fun for the participants. Join likeminded adventurers, enjoy spectacular views of the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert and witness a way of life handed down through centuries, as you pass flocks of sheep grazing on argan trees, breathtaking gorges and high meadows.

A must do experience for all adventure lovers, the challenge also brings the opportunity to explore the vibrant & colorful city of Marrakech.

Something Beyond Travel - A chance to change lives for rural girls

The challenge supports Education for All, is a local NGO in Morocco building and running girls’ boarding houses near secondary colleges in the High Atlas Mountains. EFA provides the opportunity for selected girls from villages across the region to continue their education and the chance to fulfill their potential. The High Atlas Challenge will help build their 5th Boarding House that can house up to 36 girls.
