SPRING BREAK DRAMA CAMP FOR THE STARS OF TOMORROW AT HAYLEY’S COMET THEATRE COMPANY

Dubai, Tuesday 4th March 2014:  This year’s Spring Break is the time for your young performers to step into the limelight with Hayley’s Comet Theatre Company. Dubai’s children and teenagers, from 7-14 years, are invited to try out their creativity in drama, dance and singing, concluding with a final performance for friends and family.

Between 9am-3pm each day, the starlets-to-be will play drama games, learn routines and team skills, and create their own characters to become a part of a play to be performed on the last day of camp. The camp will take place at the James & Alex Dance Studios in Media City from Sunday 6th  - Thursday 10th April.

The camp is led by Hayley Doyle, founder and artistic director of Hayley’s Comet, and her team of enthusiastic assistants. Having trained at Paul McCartney’s Fame School gaining a BA (hons) in Acting, Hayley has extensive experience as a professional actress in theatre, film and radio all over the UK. Hayley made her West End debut playing Ali in ‘Mamma Mia!’ at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Believing that all actors are storytellers, and with a love of literature, Hayley graduated from Brunel University in London with a Masters Degree in Creative Writing. She has written two published novels, short stories, radio sketches, and plays especially for children.

Hayley’s Comet is the perfect combination of putting Hayley Doyle’s experience and passion for theatre and writing together hand in hand, to create unique and memorable performances with children and teenagers all over Dubai and beyond.

The cost of the camp is AED 700. New students will also need to pay an admin charge of AED 80, which includes registration and the uniform Hayley’s Comet t-shirt worn for camp and classes.

Hayley’s Comet is a theatre company for children located at James & Alex Dance Studios, Media City. It offers practical and professional training in acting and musical theatre. Unique performances from a collaboration of children’s ideas are at the heart of Hayley’s Comet.  Founded in 2012 by UK professional actress, singer and writer, Hayley Doyle, it is Hayley who takes every class and gets to know every child individually.
