This performance is another installment to the nightspot’s I AM (Innovation, Art and Music) every Tuesday that opens a platform for local talents to shine and show their talents. “The Vigilants” is a musical duo formed by two friends JaiC and Sam Arshi who met in Dubai and instantly became best of friends because of their shared love for a lot of things including music. The two decided to take their passion to another level by forming this group with Sam on vocals and JaiC on live instruments and DJ remixing. While the range of “The Vigilants” encompasses a variety of genre, expect neo soul deephouse as their main showcase this Tuesday. He started his career in the live show “@MTV” on MTV (the Lebanese channel) after graduating as a computer science student from LAU (Lebanese American University). A year later, he moved to Dubai and developed his writing and presenting skills in the talk show “5amsa” on Dubai TV. After 4 years of being in the business, Jad gained more experience as a content producer, coming up with new shows, and working on different formats. Jad is also a music composer & producer (known as JaiC). He enjoys playing piano and working from his own home studio on different genres of music; from soundtracks for films, television & radio ads to oriental, commercial house, rnb, triphop, and dubstep hits. After releasing his 1st single “Good Evening” in 2010, he is currently preparing for his second music video for the track “#ZabTheBeat”. Sam Arshi Samineh Arshi born on the 8th of November 1985 is a highly successful Certified Life/Health Coach and business woman. Born in the Netherlands, she attended the International School of The Hague. Afterwards she left to The Hague University where she attained her Degree in European Studies. She also completed her MSc in Corporate Communications and Economics at the University of Lugano in Switzerland. Subsequently, she began Bob Proctor’s Life Consultancy Program and also became a Certified Health Coach at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Samineh Arshi is also a professional singer. While performing at Cultural events in The Netherlands at the Concordia Theatre and participating in Music Videos for Local musicians such as L4, she also co-wrote songs for her album and recorded and produced them with Chris Sheehan from 50/50 recordings in London’s finest studios with highly talented musicians such as Andrew Smith who has worked with the likes of Lauryn Hill, All Saints, 5ive, Blue, West life, Jamelia, Rod Stewart, Lemar, Gwen Stefani, Amy Winehouse, Shakira, George Michael, Mica Paris, Belinda Carlisle, Lulu, Eternal, Gabrielle, Take That, East 17, Lynden David Hall, Omar, Gloria Gaynor, Denise Williams, Nu Colours, N,dea Davenport, Eric Benet, Beverly Knight, Brownstone, Jocelyn Brown, ABC, Vio Condios, The Jones Girls, Keith Sweat, Hamish Stuart, Noel Mckoy, Alisha's Attic, Shiro Sagasu, Misia and Karlos Edwards, who has worked with Nitin Sawhney, Take That, Rhiane Benson, Omar, Duffy, Des'ree and finally Ben Trigg who has worked with Elton John, Seal, Jonathan Jeremiah, Dizzee Rascal, The Heritage Orchestra and Gorillaz. Arshi has also worked with singer and piano player Charlie Wood; Memphis’ big-kept musical secret, and will be working with Adam Levy, who is an accomplished jazz guitarist/ singer-songwriter and writer/ artist for Universal Music Publishing Group. Levy has recorded with Norah Jones (with 6 year sting touring as a member of her Handsome Band), Tracy Chapman, Sex Mob, Shelley Segal and Amos Lee. She also released a song that was written and produced by Sam Pari. Currently, she is acting in a play that is written and directed by Enzo Messina. Her passion for music and acting have always defined her character and she intends on developing both her love for music and acting.
