Egyptian Pavilion Has Global Village Visitors Awestruck By Aesthetic Façade And Unique Features

Dubai, UAE, 16 November 2013: The ancient Egyptian design of one Global Village's most popular pavilions reflects one of the oldest countries in the world, with a pyramid rising above the main building structure and hieroglyphics adorning the façade.

The pyramid is made of glass reflecting the mix of old and new that will entice visitors to the Egyptian Pavilion at Global Village where they can enjoy an experience of Egypt that goes beyond its ancient roots, to the modern nation of today.

Families will enjoy having the chance to have their names written in traditional hieroglyphics, the ancient Egyptian means of written communication. they will also be able to have other sayings and phrases written for them by Egyptian staff dressed in traditional Pharaonic clothes. Visitors can also watch a sand artist create bottled works of art in front of them and ask for a special message to be written for them in sand.

A walk around the pavilion will reveal a wide variety of ancient Egyptian souvenirs and modern day accessories and clothing. The Egyptian pavilion offers up a wide range of cotton items, made exclusively in Egypt and using that nation's world renowned cotton. Visitors will be able to find a large variety of colourful, traditional Egyptian dresses, and cotton bed wear for children.

The avid home decorator has a wide choice of fine, wood carved tables in Egyptian design, and wooden tablets displaying Islamic phrases; all perfect as house warming gifts.

On a visit to Global Village's Egyptian pavilion, families will be entertained by traditional dancing from a culture that is well known for its enormous contribution to Arabic entertainment and music. Hear classical and modern Egyptian songs, and watch as performers mix old and new styles of dancing in rhythm with music that has enthralled the Arab world for decades. Enjoy the fun and entrancing belly dancing puppet show as the puppet master, with excellent control, contorts the belly dancing puppet into moving realistically, making visitors think that they could be watching a real belly dancer. The Tanoura Show blends music and dancing with bright colours and flashing lights, creating a beautiful flurry of colours as the performer spins around the stage, making this a fantastic opportunity for great pictures.

The Pavilion also features a small museum showing replicas of the busts of Pharaohs and artifacts brought from all over the world to showcase centuries of Egyptian heritage,
