Milan, 16 November, 2013 – St. Regis Hotels & Resorts presents Art Unveiled, a bespoke programme dedicated to providing art and culture connoisseurs with personally guided tours and access to the finest museums and private contemporary art galleries in Rome and Florence. Guests of The St. Regis Rome and The St. Regis Florence are invited to indulge their passion for the arts and culture through Art Unveiled, which is designed to uncover the thriving contemporary art scene in Italy. Through the Art Unveiled programme, curated by Caterina Diana Biagiotti, contemporary art specialist and director of the non-profit foundation Biagiotti Art Project, culture lovers will discover the local contemporary art scene in Rome and Florence. Art Unveiled offers a highly personalised approach that is adapted to guests' interests and is ideal for couples, families, as well as small groups. “Few people know that for many years Italy has had a central role in contemporary art worldwide and that in the last decade, significant investments have been made to elevate the profile of contemporary art in the country. For instance in Rome, MAXXI is the first National Museum of XXI Century Arts,” said Biagiotti. “What is unique about the Art Unveiled programme is that it opens and gives access to extraordinary venues and opportunities to meet with curators and experts of contemporary art, as well as private events such as hosted dinners in collectors' homes.
