Dubai, UAE, October 14, 2018: Dr. Ashraf Subhi, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sport, will be one of the speakers at the 14th Dubai International Symposium for Sports Creativity, which will be held at Mina Al-Salam Hotel on October 31, under the theme “Empowerment of Youth in the Sport Field”. Organised under the banner of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Awards, the Dubai International Symposium for Sports Creativity will see Dr Subhi talk about the role of youth in boosting the future of sports and their role in the development of the sports sector. Dr Subhi, who took over as the Sports Minister in June, is one of Egypt’s most prominent sports personalities, having served in different administrative positions at a number of sports clubs and federations. He was Manager of Public Relations and Director of Marketing and Investment at the Egyptian sports club Zamalek. Dr Subhi is also a karate black belt and has won the Egyptian national title. He has also served as a Professor of Sport Administration at Helwan University and as chairman of the board at Cairo Stadium.
