Chart a course to Yas Marina this October for Abu Dhabi’s ultimate boating event
Abu Dhabi, September 18, 2017: Get ready for this year’s Yas Marina Boat Festival, which is taking place from Friday October 20 to Saturday October 21. Following the success of last year’s event, which welcomed over 2,000 boating enthusiasts and a wide range of exhibitors, Yas Marina has expanded the festival for Autumn 2017 with a spectacular nautical-themed schedule celebrating the very best of #LifeAtSea.
The perfect event for seasoned sailors or for those who just want to take a dip into the world of boats, this year’s lineup offers a unique opportunity to discover everything there is to know about life on the waves.
Taking place from 2pm to 9pm each day, the festival will be showcasing an incredible selection of competitively-priced new and pre-owned boats for sale, ranging from 3 to 20 metres, not to mention jet-skis, watersports equipment, accessories and so much more. Private boat owners will also be exhibiting their own vessels in the water, free of charge.
A wide range of professional brokers, industry experts and private owners will attend them event, including The Captain’s Club, Abu Dhabi’s leading members only boat club, offering the best alternative to boat ownership with basic training and competitive prices.
Yas Marina is renowned as one of Abu Dhabi’s premier attractions, so there is something for everyone at this year’s Yas Marina Boat Festival. Stroll along the picturesque promenade, or get into the festival spirit thanks to live music throughout the weekend, including an evening set from 5pm Friday and Saturday starring Saif and Sound. Don’t miss the adrenaline-packed wake kicker show, where the UAE’s top wakeboarders will be showing off their talents to the crowds with tricks and flips over a speciallyconstructed jump in the Marina.
Whet appetites at a tasty selection of food trucks, or finish the night in style at one of Yas Marina’s top restaurants or cafes. Enjoy finest Italian cuisine with a marine view at Cipriani, award-winning seafood at Aquarium, or live music at Stars‘N’Bars. On Friday evening, popular house band, The Shake Down, will be rocking the crowd at Stars ‘N’ Bars between 9pm and 1am, while Saturday is the Nautic But Nice ladies’ night at Aquarium, with unlimited beverages and a seafood platter for AED55 per person.
The Yas Marina Boat Festival, is taking place at Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi on Friday October 20 and Saturday October 21. Doors are open from 2pm until 9pm on each day of the festival. The Yas Marina Boat Festival is open to the public and access is free of charge.
