Abu Dhabi, UAE, September 29, 2016: Royal Jet, the Middle East’s foremost private charter company, has appointed a new leader to pilot the latest chapter in its pioneering history. Effective immediately, Rob DiCastri has taken up the position as President and CEO of the company. Mr. DiCastri joins Royal Jet with more than 25 years of international leadership experience in aviation and hospitality. This includes over 10 years in the Middle East, where he played a key role in establishing National Air Services (flynas) / Net Jets Middle East (now NasJet) in Saudi Arabia as CFO and Head of Strategy. He will work together with the Executive Management Team to steer Royal Jet through a period of transformation aimed at unlocking the private charter company’s full potential and ensuring its strategic goals are achieved. “I have tremendous confidence in Rob’s abilities. With his individual expertise in our industry and his leadership experience, he will lead Royal Jet through the next phase of its strategic journey and prepare the company for even greater success in the future,” said His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of Royal Jet.
