Leading Arab Women Achievers to attend Modern Woman Show

Raha Moharrak, the fist Saudi woman to climb Mount Everest and Malak Ali Hassan, Forbes award-winning Arab businesswoman, among others, will speak at the event

December 8, 2015; Dubai, UAE: Inspiring women to think beyond their limits and to forge ahead successfully, Dubai’s first Modern Women Show will include seminars by highly accomplished women of Arab region. The seminars, which will be held on all the three days of the event between 1 pm - 5 pm from December 17th to 19th, 2015 - will be a source of encouragement for ordinary women, spurring them to achieve to the best of their ability and to discover their true potential. Powerful women speakers will discuss the routes they took off the beaten track, give their listener tips on ways to deal with challenges faced in professional spheres, and how to emerge successful in a dominant male society. The Modern Woman Show will be held at the World Trade Centre, Hall 1, and will be open to public from 11am to 8am. Entry will be free for all visitors.
 
Speakers at the seminars include the famous Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi woman to conquer Mount Everest who will speak of her conquest and the need to follow one’s dreams despite various obstacles. Visitors will also have the opportunity to listen to Emirati architect Malak Ali Hassan who recently won an award by Forbes as one of the Business Leaders Inspiring the UAE. She was also featured in Forbes 200 Most Powerful Arab Women, among her many other achievements. Bahraini nursing leader Fatema Abdulwahed, the first women in Ministry of Health to be appointed as Director for Human Resources and who was instrumental in establishing Bahrain Nursing society will also conduct sessions. She is currently the Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources and Services at Ministry of Health in Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
Other speakers include Christina Ioannidis, CEO of Aquitude and founder of Top of Her Game, GCC’s first online portal and job board aimed at breaking stereotypes of women in technology, business and sport. Top of Her Game offers impact for Arab women through personal development and peer-mentoring programmes, career opportunities, and other exclusive ground-breaking content. Dr Linda Nubani, Founder and Managing Director of Mazari Interiors, and Jannat Mirinda, CEO and Founder of online fashion blog JMode will also speak at the occasion.
