Sultan bin Sulayem opens one of the top ten seafood restaurants in Dubai at Umm Suqeim 2 Fishing Harbour

Dubai UAE, December 8, 2015:  His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of DP World and Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, today (Monday, December 7, 2015), opened Bu Qtair; one of the top ten seafood restaurants in Dubai, at Umm Suqeim 2 Fishing Harbour. 

From Dubai Customs, the restaurant opening event was attended by Ahmed Al Falasi, Acting Executive Director of HR, Finance and Administration Division, Khalil Saqer, Director of Corporate Communication, and Khalifa Hareb, Head of Fishing Harbours Team. 

“We are propelled by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to take full advantage of the emirate’s conducive environment for investments and business. The development of fishing harbours at Jumeirah 1, Umm Suqeim 1 and Umm Suqeim 2 was aimed at boosting Dubai’s tourism industry, focusing on an integral part of Emirati heritage, traditional fishing - which we seek to market and promote into a new tourist attraction in the emirate of Dubai,” Bin Sulayem added.

Bin Sulayem further added that Dubai is one of the world’s premier tourist destinations and has a full year-round calendar of events and activities which caters to tourists of all backgrounds.
