Dubai, October 26, 2015: Now in the final weeks before the thrilling finale on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, the ten shortlisted artists: Josh Monteath, Inphinix, Jay Abo, Scott Attew, As Per Casper, Esther Eden, Gohary, Leone Murphy, S.O.S. (Secrecy Over Supremacy) and Pimms Brooke are under the learned guidance of top industry reps and musical ambassadors. The homegrown talent has now completed the first of four weeks of workshops and mentoring sessions at the Creative Lab, twofour54. Starting out the week was an in-depth session from Rami M Zeidan, Head of Marketing at Anghami, talking to the finalists about the importance of social media for establishing their fan base, creating online profiles and the new industry trends in online music streaming. The finalists were greeted by FLASH’s own VP of Operations, Lee Charteris, head judge in the competition. Kicking off this week of sessions is a mentoring session with DJ Saif and Sound from Radio 1 and media training from H+K. Speaking after one of the sessions, Inphinix, one of the shortlisted artists said: 'The workshop and the exchange with the other artists were both so helpful. I have clear direction on how to maximize my social platforms without taking away from my art!' The competing ten look ahead to two more weeks of training including mentoring sessions with Clarita de Quiroz (Ambassador) and Jae Franklin (Ambassador) and workshops with Pop Arabia from twofour54 and experts on artist management. . After which, the final three will be selected for the chance to win the ultimate prize of performing live at Beats on the Beach 2015 presented by Volkwagen in front of tens of thousands of music fans and also at the Village at the du Arena over race weekend. Music fans from across the Emirates can see the final three perform live at the F1 Fanzone™ Stage on the Abu Dhabi Corniche on November 21st.
