- For Immediate Release – A CHARITABLE ACT BY KHALIDIYA PALACE RAYHAAN BY ROTANA Abu Dhabi – As the popular saying goes, there is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people spirits up. On the 27th of August, colleagues from Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana did just that on their visit to Mussafah district to lift up the spirits of the labourers. Nothing can compared to the smiles that graced their faces as they were presented with items brought to them by Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. Seeing their reaction was heart moving and reinforces our commitment to always help the less privileged around us and the Red Crescent in achieving their mission to mobilize the human power to support the vulnerable. This event was conducted in collaboration with the Red Crescent, The Body Shop, Makina Communications and BBM Creation. It is general knowledge that the inflow of migrant worker to the GCC countries has accelerated development within the region but their jobs are characterized by long working hours and sometimes under physically and mentally hazardous working conditions. Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana saw this as a golden opportunity to give back to these hardworking people for their efforts. Most of these people have been away from home and their loved one for such a long period of time that simple gestures of care and appreciation brings out heart moving smiles in appreciation for identifying with them. We at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana continuing in our charitable spirit, chose this time to share with the less privileged and to extend a hand to support and show our concern towards others around us.
