Dubai Sat-2 captures image of Mecca from space

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 1, 2015: Celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan, DubaiSat-2 satellite owned and operated by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) captured a one meter resolution image of Mecca from outer space, DubaiSat-2 provides high quality satellite imagery to several institutions, inside and outside of the UAE, that can be used in urban planning, disaster management, environmental monitoring, mapping and scientific research.
