Dubai, UAE 29th June 2015: A student delegation from the Skyline University College recently visited the Landmark Grand Hotel located at Al Rigga in Dubai to get a first-hand experience of the hospitality and service industry. The day long trip offered students an opportunity to meet with representatives from different departments at the Landmark Grand hotel. Students also gained knowledge about the different processes, services and techniques currently being implemented by the hotel. Dr. Shivakumar Krishnamurthi, Professor at the Skyline University College commented on the recent trip: “‘the idea behind such initiatives is that students get to see first-hand what it's like to work in various areas of operations in a hotel.” Dr Fatima Naveen, Group HR Manager, Landmark Zenath Group, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to host the students from Skyline University College. They were extremely enthusiastic and asked many questions regarding the services and processes in the hotel. Such initiatives are a great learning experience that allows students to learn beyond the traditional classroom and apply these professional skills in the workplace.”
