You’re inquisitive and inventive and have a no-nonsense approach to getting things done. Whether you’re a technology student or a seasoned professional, if you have skills in software, hardware or networks, Special Olympics wants you. 
 
F - Medical services 
 
You’re perfect for medical services! You’re caring and empathetic by nature whilst also being detail-orientated and organized. You’re a shoulder for all your friends because you’re such a good listener, good at communicating and emotionally stable. You don’t get tired easily and have a good level of physical and mental endurance. You’re work ethic is strong and you’re a quick thinker. Special Olympics aims to give a free medical screening for all athletes and people with a medical background are invaluable in helping to accomplish this goal. 
 
G - Host Town Program
 
You love living in the UAE and are perfect for the Host Town Program! You love to talk to people, tell stories, are passionate and sensitive. The Host Town Program is the largest cultural exchange program to be organized in the Middle East and will see the seven emirates host delegations from around the world – giving athletes, coaches and families a warm, hospitable welcome. You’d be perfect for showcasing Emirati culture and traditions, and providing delegations with knowledge of the UAE.  
 
Over 20,000 people are needed to help stage 2019’s biggest sports and humanitarian event in the world. 
 
Volunteers must be at least 14-years old and commit to a minimum of four shifts during the Games. All volunteers will be required to attend 16-hours of training ahead of the Games and there will be opportunities for those with and without intellectual disabilities to get involved.
