Sharjah, November 05, 2022: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed AlQasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the allocation of AED 4.5 million to equip the emirate’s libraries with the latest titles from regional and international publishing houses who have a presence at the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF).
This annual grant is in line with the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to build knowledge-based communities and provide them access to the latest resources from the Arab region and around the world in science, arts, history, culture, and other disciplines.

Abu Dhabi, 4th November 2022: As part of its mission to empower youth to become future environmental experts, the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) today launched ‘Murshed’ - its Youth Eco-Rangers programme which motivates young people to volunteer as eco-rangers. The programme aims to train a group of cycle 2 and 3 Abu Dhabi schools’ students aged14 to17 annually to understand the role of eco-rangers in protecting and preserving the environment.

28 October, 2022 – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM), through the UAE Research Program for Rain Enhancement Science (UAEREP), successfully completed the second phase of innovative technology demonstration trials aimed at exploring the possibility of artificial cloud formation by stimulating local updrafts.
