DHA Launches Post-COVID-19 Clinics

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 22, 2021:  The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has introduced Post-COVID-19 clinics at two of its health centres in Dubai. The clinics will take place on Tuesdays at Al Barsha Health Centre and on Thursdays at Nad Al Hammar Health Centre. The clinics are for patients with lingering symptoms, often referred to as “long-COVID” as the symptoms persist 4 to 12 weeks after the onset of the illness. Abu Dhabi, 28 August 2021:  Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, (SEHA), the UAE’s largest healthcare network, announced the opening of a new COVID-19 drive-through services center in the Al Aamerah area in Al Ain.  The new center is composed of 4 tracks; 1 for vaccination and 3 for nasal swabs and DPI laser-based testing with a capacity of 100 vaccinations and 800 nasal swabs and laser tests per day. The center welcomes clients from Saturday to Thursday from 8 AM to 8 PM and on Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM.  This brings the total number of COVID-19 drive-through services centers managed by SEHA to 4 in the city of Al Ain; Al Hili, Asharej, Al Sarouj and the new center in Al Aamerah; and a total of 25 across the nation.
