Nuvolari Legend “The Brown Helmet” Eberhard & Co. extends the range dedicated to the great champion
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 14, 2019: In the wake of the great success achieved by the latest addition to the Tazio Nuvolari collection, the Nuvolari Legend automatic timepiece, Eberhard & Co. presents the new version 'The Brown Helmet', featuring a dial in a warm 'antique leather' nuance that perfectly matches with the look of this vintage-inspired chronograph.
In fact, the design of Nuvolari Legend recalls that of the first pocket and wrist chronographs produced at the beginning of the last century by the Maison from La Chaux-de-Fonds, while being paired with a case and movement with purely contemporary features: solidity, reliability and durability.
For the choice of the new dial, the Maison was inspired by the natural leather accessories so much loved by the great champion, who made them the essential talismans from the moment he got behind the wheel: a vest that protected him from the wind and a soft helmet which also succeeded in suppressing some of the infernal noise produced by the automobiles of that time. These cult objects are now exhibited at the Nuvolari Museum in Mantova, together with the twin of the pocket watch by Eberhard that Nuvolari always carried with him.
Nuvolari Legend 'The Brown Helmet' is offered with a steel case 43 mm in diameter. Waterproof to 30 metres, in addition to its timepiece functions, it offers a central tachymetric spiral scale in Km/hr. The transparent caseback allows you to admire the oscillating weight, decorated with a gold reproduction of the fabulous Alfa Romeo Type 12/C, the companion of many victories of the 'Flying Mantuan '. A “checkerboard” motif, inspired by the starting flag of motor racing, decorates the edge of the caseback.
Nuvolari Legend 'The Brown Helmet' will be available from the Authorized Dealers of Eberhard & Co. …………
