January 18, 2022:  Meet Sefam, from 24 to 27 January, at Arab Health, the leading healthcare trade fair in the Near and Middle East. An opportunity to discover the Sefam S.Box concept - an innovative and connected PCP technology that puts patients back in charge of their own treatment.

A historical exhibitor

In order to strengthen its position in the Near and Middle East, Sefam will once again take part in the Arab Health trade show this year. A pioneer in the treatment and diagnosis of sleep-disordered breathing, the company, which was established in 1985, will exhibit its products in the France pavilion of Hall Za’abeel 2 on booth Z2D12 It will present innovative solutions for the overall management of obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS) - from diagnosis through monitoring to treatment.

Sefam S.Box - towards customised medicine
The flagship product which you can discover this year is the Sefam S.Box. The device, designed by Philippe Starck, represents a major technological advance in the field of e-health.
The S.Box concept places the patient at the heart of the OSAS treatment process. The Positive Continuous Pressure (PCP) device connects a range of connected objects to a mobile application (SEFAM Access and SEFAM Access Pro). Its purpose is to monitor the various health parameters of apnoeic patients, such as blood pressure, heart rate or physical activity. The device offers personalised treatment to each patient, depending on their comorbidities, and involves them in their own treatment. The S.Box also facilitates data exchanges between the patient and healthcare professionals, who can thus more precisely direct the treatment and monitoring of the patient along a suitable care pathway.

Expertise that can be exported

With over 30 years of experience, SEFAM has operations in over 60 countries. SEFAM products are designed and manufactured in France, more specifically in Nancy. The company works together with a scientific council made up of medical opinion leaders, and designs ever more effective technologies that are inspired by people. It offers precision, customised medicine, that is both more accessible and more human.
