November 30, 2021:  Kanoo Machinery, a leading provider of world-class machinery brands for sales and after-sales in the region, showcased innovative machines and equipment from its trusted partners and principals in the recently concluded Materials Handling Open Day.

Held in Kanoo Machinery’s office in Al Quoz last November 23, the annual event featured live display and demonstration of machines, parts availability, and service capabilities offered by its principals and leading solutions providers in the Middle East, Hyster and Combilift.

Hyster is a globally known machinery brand that offers a comprehensive range of warehousing equipment, industrial lift trucks, container handlers and reach stackers as well as quality parts to meet your materials handling needs—with a reputation of making durable lifting equipment dating back to the 1920s.

Meanwhile, Combilift is the largest global manufacturer of multi-directional forklifts and Straddle Carriers. The company is an acknowledged leader in long load handling solutions, with over 50,000 units sold in over 85 countries since 1998.

Materials Handling Open Day provided a platform for these brands to offer quality parts and equipment at competitive prices, with a promise to maximize lift truck uptime, and efficiency that customers can count on.

“This year, Kanoo Machinery is focusing a lot on inter-logistic equipment, a reason why we are committed to have this event provide a venue for our partners to showcase their complete range of equipment that can support all the customers’ material handling needs. Our division also guarantees to offer our customers a one-stop solution that can help them in terms of sales, services, and aftermarket,” said Kamlesh Asarpota, Sales Manager of Kanoo Machinery.

Peter Madoc-Jones, the Territory Manager of Hyster, said: “Kanoo Machinery, our trusted distribution partner in the Middle East, successfully provided Hyster an avenue to demonstrate our product range that guarantees to help customers with their material handling needs. We are here to help them with their service requirements, and with anything they need in terms of parts and services to help their operation run smoothly and cost-effectively,” he said.

Nick Lojevec, the Business Development Manager for GCC of Combilift, also discussed how the company offers products that reduce carbon footprint while still assuring utmost quality for material handling needs.

“On behalf of Combilift, we would like to thank Kanoo Machinery UAE, our important partner, for providing us a platform to showcase our latest material handling solutions through the Materials Handling Open Day. The event allowed us to showcase our innovative range of products, as well as raise awareness about prioritizing sustainability, especially in Material Handling Industry. We have always been keen to reflect our business goal to reduce carbon footprint because, just like the UAE, Combilift believes that environmental sustainability is the future. Specially in this industry, it is important that we make revolutionary changes that lean towards creating a green environment, in order to produce a better future for the world,” he said.

Kannan Chandrasekaran, the Country Manager of Kanoo Machinery, explains the importance of organizing Materials Handling Open Day together and how it displayed better offers for customers’ material handling needs.

“We are happy to be able to show the entire product range of material handling equipment provided by our principals, Hyster and Combilift. Kanoo Machinery has been a great and long partner of these brands, and we ensure to add a lot of value for them and all the principals we are working with. This event allowed us to reflect the innovation that our division has always been committed to uphold, and we promise to always launch initiatives that can propel our principals and the industry towards greater heights,” he said.

Aside from the vast array of products offered by Hyster and Combilift, the event also highlighted the rental solutions of Kanoo Machinery’s rental arm—KanRent.

The UAE’s leading equipment rental solutions provider in material handling, construction, access, and cleaning equipment, etc., KanRent has pioneered the market in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain with its unmatched industry expertise.
