Welcomes Global Golfing Stars To Its 32nd Edition 
 
United Arab Emirates -  January 11, 2021:   OMEGA is once again poised to enjoy golfing excellence at the 32nd edition of the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic, which will be held at the Emirates Golf Club from January 28th – 31st. 
 
The event will witness some of the game’s top players including OMEGA brand ambassadors Sergio Garcia, as well as Collin Morikawa, who will make his OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic debut at this year’s tournament. 
 
OMEGA has been the title sponsor of what is known as the ‘Major of the Middle East’ since 2010. OMEGA President and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann says, “OMEGA has now been a proud partner and supporter of the Dubai Desert Classic for more than 10 years, and we are once again looking forward to witnessing some world-class golf from some incredible players, including two of our own close friends. Dubai is a spectacular location and always a memorable place to begin the sporting year.”
 
The event will take place in line with international Covid-19 protocol for the safety of all those involved. Attendance at the event is for invited guests only but will be broadcast to a worldwide audience on mainstream sports networks, with exclusive content being shared on the social media channels of the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic.
 
 
 
The Luxurious Winner’s Watch – The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 
Along with the championship trophy and cheque, the winner of the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic 2021 will be presented with an OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra.  The 41 mm watch is crafted in 18K Sedna™ gold, with a sun-brushed blue dial and a blue strap made from structured rubber. Driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8901, it is certified at the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic resistance.
 
The hole-in-one watch - The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra “Golf” Edition
Any golfer who scores the first hole-in-one on the 7th hole at the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic, will be rewarded with an OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra “Golf” Edition.  The 41 mm watch is built in stainless steel, with a sun-brushed black dial and a distinctive green central seconds hand. Presented on a green and black striped NATO strap, the timepiece is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8900.
