Dubai, UAE - 26 October 2020:  Dubai is a city known for its hustle and bustle and while it’s one of the many reasons we love the city, sometimes everyone needs a breather. Look no further than Festival Plaza – the local community shopping centre will be hosting free yoga sessions every day during DTCM’s Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) for visitors to catch an hour of Zen before going about their day.

The event is an annual celebration of all thing’s fitness and wellness. Launched in 2017, the initiative challenges everyone in the city to complete 30 minutes of activity each day for 30 days. Dubai Fitness Challenge heralds a month-long calendar of exciting fitness events and wellness-focused entertainment to keep Dubai moving. It not only helps create fitness-focused mindsets, but also inspires Dubai residents to work towards a common goal of maintaining healthier, active lifestyles. This year’s event kicks off across the city on 30 October and runs until 28 November, with the classes from Festival Plaza taking place for the duration, between 7am and 8am daily. Mall discounts will also be available upon registration so yogis can also pick up great deals once they’ve done their sessions. These will include 75% off supplements and body care at Life Pharmacy, 25% off all menu items at Dennys and bye one get free off all items at Jamaica Blue when you present your yoga registration email.

Festival Plaza, opened in 2019, covers 64,800 square metres and serves as a convenient and local lifestyle destination. The shopping destination is home to much-loved flagship stores and hosts the second and biggest IKEA store in Dubai, concept Lulu Hypermarket store which is the first of its kind, Marks & Spencer, flagship KARE store and soon to be home to the much loved ACE Hardware. The retailers are complimented by a multitude of dining and entertainment options as well.
