Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 04, 2020:   H.E.Vipul, Consul General, Consulate of India, Dubai, handed over the air ticket to            Ms Athira Narayanan, who was without any job and income for the past three months. She was one of the passengers of the special chartered flight from Dubai to Kochi organized as part of their CSR initiative by J&J Marketing LLC to repatriate 185 Indians. This fully sponsored repatriation flight was made possible, thanks to the efforts and coordination between Mr Jiji & team and the Government bodies. All passengers expressed their heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to the organisers.  Mr.Vipul conveyed his appreciation and lauded the efforts taken by Jiji to help the needy.

Mr. Jiji Varghese, Managing Director of J&J Marketing L.L.C. Dubai, the leading market distributor in the stationery industry with over a network of 20 countries pointed out that a lot of hard work had gone behind this successful venture. “Right from the time we announced the free repatriation flight, our dedicated telephone numbers were flooded with calls from our brethren including those who have lost their jobs, those suffering from chronic illness, those without a place to stay as well as pregnant women to get a seat and travel back to their hometown. Based on set guidelines we shortlisted 185 passengers who were able to travel to Kochi. We have tried our best to select the most deserving people and I hope that we were able to do so. The entire team that worked behind this have expressed their satisfaction in getting this dream realized,” he pointed out.

Ms Athira pointed out that Mission GiGiS was a big help in this difficult situation. “I am extremely thankful to Mr Jiji for this humane gesture. Over the past many months, I have been finding it difficult to live without a job. The fact that I could reach home and see my people gave me great happiness. I am thankful to all those who were involved in this. The mercy of kind hearted people has helped me to reach home,” she added.

“This mission of repatriating 185 deserving individuals was made possible thanks to the dedicated effort of a team that was constituted specifically for this purpose. I convey my utmost appreciation and gratitude for the continual efforts taken by all the individuals who were actively involved in making this charitable initiative a great success. Above all, I thank our Almighty for getting this realised,” he signed off.
