The Mohammed Bin Zayed Majlis for Future Generations Reveals Keynote Speakers

  • Prestigious list of keynote speakers and global experts announced for second Majlis for Future Generations on October 8-9
  • Over 300 interactive sessions set to take place over the 2 days
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 7 October 2018:   Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the second edition of the Mohammed Bin Zayed Majlis for Future Generations will commence on October 8, 2018 where ‘leaders of today meet the leaders tomorrow'. 
 
The agenda revealed a number of both local and international high-profile speakers, across more than 300 interactive sessions.
 
Taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on October 8-9, the Majlis offers Emirati students the unrivaled opportunity to meet and engage with the UAE’s culture, social, and technological leaders. 
 
The Majlis will be attended by: His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.E. Shamma Suhail Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs; H.E. Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development; H.E. Nasser bin Thani Juma Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation; H.E. Ahmad Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills; H.E. Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, H.E. Dr. Anwar Mohamed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; H.E. Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Al Mehairi, Minister of State for Food Security; Her Excellency Minister Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development; H.E Sarah bint Yousif Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Sciences, H.E. Mohamed Al Junaibi, Director of the President's Protocol.
 
Also H.E. Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority and a member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; H.E. Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and a member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; H.E. Mubarak Al Shamsi, General Director of Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, H.E. Abdullah Lootah (FCSA), General Director of Fedral Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq, Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet; and  H.E. Mohamed Al Abbar, Chairman Emaar Properties, will be attending the Majlis.
 
The prestigious speaker list covers the entire event, across five dedicated zones that explore the themes: taking pride in a nation, growing 21st century skills, and developing global mindsets.
 
Mohamed Khaleefa Al Nuaimi, Director-Education Affairs Office, said: “We are excited to announce the participation of such prestigious leadership at the Majlis. The interest shown in this year’s event has been truly humbling. And I am glad we will be able to provide them with such a rich and valuable experience.
 
We also have more than 50 partners involved including Expo 2020, the Special Olympics, Mubadala, and Masdar, among others. All this, plus the exciting array of workshops, talks and sessions is bound to make the Majlis for Future Generations the must-see event of the year for Emirati students.”
 
Regional and global experts across a variety of fields and disciplines, including Caleb Harper, Beau Lotto and Ayesha Khanna, who will share their knowledge, experience and perspectives on relevant topics including ‘Digital Agriculture’ and ‘Creativity in Science,’ as well as deeper discussion into the future of Blockchain and Fintech.
 
“We have over 300 sessions planned across our five interactive zones which cover five main themes: Science and Technology; Business and Entrepreneurship; Leadership and Development; Culture, Art and Media; and Sports and Fitness. The Majlis is set to be an action-packed two days of knowledge sharing and constructive dialogue, encouraging students to be leaders in their own lives, designing a better future for themselves and that of the nation,” added Al Nuaimi.
