Publishing November 1, 2016, the memoir chronicles personal stories from Hilfiger’s early childhood and formative years, to the setbacks, triumphs, and sheer determination that drove him to build a multi-billion dollar global brand. The cover artwork was shot by renowned photographer Richard Phibbs at the Tommy Hilfiger brand’s Fifth Avenue Flagship store in New York City.

American Dreamer is written by Tommy Hilfiger in collaboration with Peter Knobler. It will be published by Ballantine Books, an imprint of Random House, a division of Penguin Random House, the world’s largest trade-book publisher, whose parent company is Bertelsmann AG of Random House.
