Bershka Spring-Summer Campaign 2016
Dubai, UAE, March 26, 2016
BERSHKA WOMAN
Bershka’s SS16 collection is broadly characterized by a look in neutral tones, the aesthetics of handmade pieces and simplicity in patternmaking.
Rustic textures, with a fresh-made feel, make a comeback. Details stand out in each and every piece belonging to the different lines within the brand: Bershka and BSK. Raw cuts, frayed finishes and natural fabrics are key in this collection.
Denim continues being indispensable, in boyfriend and skinny fittings, adding new finishes like frayed cropped leg-ends, asymmetry and waistband-free designs.
Craftsmanship and fashion come together in the ‘Raw’ trend.
Ribbed dresses, trumpet-end and wide-leg pants are essential pieces in the collection.
In terms of details, trompe l'oeil prints are enriched with embroidery and natural fabrics stand out.
The ethnic spirit comes to life in ‘Glamazone’, with the tunic as key item in this collection.
Crossover items and knotted textiles like macramé as well as asymmetric dresses and military Saharan jackets, complete this African inspired trend
Tropical coloring and surf serve as references to create Gang Beach, this season’s sportiest silhouette.
Ethnic prints with flowers and tie-dye effects result in an eclectic collection in which bodies, tank tops, dresses and kimonos are the main elements
In the nightwear collection we can find trends inspired by lingerie: ultra-feminine garments and vaporous pieces with extreme lengths and delicate materials like blonda and satin. Powdery tones tint clothing pieces like the sleep dress, an indispensable for this season.
BERSHKA MAN
Bershka MAN’s SS16 collection connects technology, musical aesthetics, trends, and urban character.
Garment design details contrast with each other; from rips, to raw finishes, and worn-down effects or incomplete endings. The color palette is dominated by earthy tones and off-whites, along with khaki and blue.
Streetwear rules dominate this completely urban collection, crowded with musical influences: Washed out fabrics and layering are both key characteristics to this collection. The sweatshirt, the bomber jacket and slim-cut pants come together with prints and extra-long silhouettes.
The most avant-garde line is reinterpreted, abandoning the dark color range as it gives way to lighter tones, even for nightwear. Pieces continue in fluid silhouettes, non-strident graphics, and rustic materials.
The folk aesthetic and the 70’s bohemian look inspire the casual collection, where the mix of textures is predominant. The poncho, must-have of this collection, is combined with oversize shirts, trucker jackets in denim, and, the fedora.
Nordic minimalism is the main influence for the Smart collection. Wide, pleated or cropped trousers, are a key item. The carcoat comes forth as an essential piece, while denim, in a pure and discreet line, continues present an essential basic.
