Learnactive brings strategic partner and training celebrity to Dubai for the first time
Dubai, UAE, 18 January 2014 – Learnactive, a Human Resource and Organizational Development consultancy that promotes the ability to have practical results, is hosting Jim Kirkpatrick, son of Don Kirkpatrick, the creator of the Kirkpatrick Model, for the first time in Dubai for an exclusive training experience on the ‘training impact on business results' on 20 January 2014 at the xx.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Maha Khatib, Co-founder, Learnactive, said: “For the first time, Jim is visiting and facilitating a brilliant session for the UAE community which will attract specialists from various companies. The topic is a very hot issue in the training industry at the moment and professionals will certainly learn a great deal from the one and only, Mr. Kirkpatrick himself.”
The upcoming series of sessions with Jim is the beginning phases of February's certification program. Learnactive will be conducting the first Kirkpatrick (KP) silver level certification in the region which will help participants in implementing the evaluations within their organizations. It is a higher level certification from Bronze (Kirkpatrick Four Levels Evaluation Certification).
“We are training individuals to create a pool of Learning and Development (L&D) professionals who are certified practitioners on the latest model on evaluating training effectiveness in their organizations. This will enable them to make more effective decision about how to spend their training budgets and to elevate L&D practices in our local market,” added Maha.
The Kirkpatrick® Model, one of many training and development programs offered by Learnactive, is committed to offering a complete learning and performance package that helps to positively transform both organizations and individuals. The Kirkpatrick® Model represents more than just training evaluation and it forms the framework for the Kirkpatrick® Business Partnership Model, a holistic process that creates, delivers and demonstrates training value.
Jim Kirkpatrick, Ph.D, is a Senior Consultant for Kirkpatrick Partners. With the Expo 2020 on every business' agenda, it is essential to review systems such as training and development for employees which supports the importance of evaluating such programs' successes. “We live in an era where we have to work smart and effectively. By providing employees access to certifications like these, it gives them the motivation and ability to work more productively and asses their own achievements. This is what will set a winning company apart from the ones that will continue to question its operations,” concluded Maha.
