The event will be held in Dubai on Friday, 17th of October at Shangri La Hotel. The roadshow will move to Le Royal Meridien in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, 18th of October and then to Hilton Al Ain on Sunday, 19th of October. “IDP Education has a rich history spanning four decades. Since 1969 IDP Education has been an industry leader in facilitating and promoting international education. We have placed over 2000 students from Middle East in Australian Universities over the last three years. Over 550 students were placed in the US and more than 60 students from Middle East were placed in Canada from the Middle East since 2012. Furthermore over 450 students in the UK from Middle East during 2012 and 2013 with students opting for in-demand courses like Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science and IT,” said Mr. Maher El Bakry, IDP Middle East Regional Director.

There are 15 universities from the UK at the roadshow including  top ranked institutions; University of Birmingham, University of Nottingham, University of Southampton, University of Sussex and University of St. Andrews. Australia is well represented in the event with top universities like Monash University, The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney, University of Adelaide and University of New South Wales. Nine other Australian universities also take part in the roadshow. There are nine Universities from the USA and  four from Canada.

“This roadshow is a great platform for students who wish to study abroad. It’s an end-to-end process where the students and parents are educated and informed about choices they can make to secure a bright career. Our counsellors assist these students with their goal of studying overseas. We help international students gain admission to educational institutions in the main English-speaking countries. We also provide personalised course advice, course application submission and pre-departure guidance,” said Mr. El Bakry.

IDP Education is also the co-owner of IELTS (International English Language Testing System). IELTS is jointly owned by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment. Since its launch in 1989, IELTS has become the world’s most popular English language proficiency test. IDP runs more than 200 test locations around the world including 10 in UAE.

“Studying abroad is a unique immersive experience that helps the student to gain confidence living among new people, to discover a new culture and a whole new world apart from learning the selected curriculum. Studying abroad has multiple benefits of learning under well trained educators and learning beyond the regular classroom format. Students are trained to change the way they think apart from developing their language skills. At the end of a successful term completion, there is an international exposure and global job prospects to choose from depending on the student’s area of interest,” added Mr. El Bakry

IDP has placed more than 400,000 students into quality institutions in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada and New Zealand. With its vast network and expertise of staff resources, IDP Education is a global leader in international student placement services.
