The EMEA region's most significant free manufacturing event comes to Dammam, KSA
Rockwell Automation is pleased to announce that the first leg of Automation University – arguably the EMEA region's most significant and exciting free manufacturing event – is coming to Sheraton Dammam Convention and Exhibition Center, Dammam in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the 9th-10th September
Abu Dhabi, UAE – 19 June 2014 – The event is specifically designed to give professionals in the fields of management, engineering, maintenance, purchasing and IT an opportunity to discuss current and emerging challenges with industry colleagues, technical specialists and business consultants... all in a relaxed, friendly, non-sales environment.
Due to continuous assessment of the shows' programmes and differing regional needs, Rockwell Automation tailors the direction and content, helping to make the information, technology and advice at the shows the best possible fit for the local and contemporary issues facing the visitors. And, thanks to the parallel streams and sheer variety of what is on offer, users are able to tailor a programme that suits their requirements; meaning they don't miss out on vital sessions or have to sit through presentations that do not concern them.
Held at different EMEA venues every year, each event takes place over two days offering multiple hands-on labs, live demos, seminars and industry sessions – bringing together solutions and specialists. On average each event runs 10 parallel sessions, with a total of 65 sessions per day. The last round of events saw 400-500 people at each venue. Rockwell Automation is also joined by many of its technology partners, in a large central show area (averaging 1,000m2), where demo walls, mock ups and industry-specific applications are re-enacted for the benefit of visitors.
Already with a ten-year pedigree, Automation University has been phenomenally well received everywhere it has been held thanks to its ability to deliver what people really need to know.
As the event is free to attend, places at each event are always in great demand, so anyone wishing to visit the show is encouraged to register their interest early. They can do so at www.automationuniversity.eu.
Anyone experiencing any of the issues faced by many modern manufacturing enterprises really should come along. Feedback from past events shows that most visitors leave with new ideas, new directions and, in some cases, the wish that the event was longer.
