Calvin Harris Added to Star-Studded Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023 Weekend Line-up
Superstar DJ and producer joins Travis Scott and Afrojack as part of A-List weekend concerts
The Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC) – Promoter of the FORMULA 1 STC SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 – is delighted to confirm that multi-award winning Superstar DJ and music producer Calvin Harris, will perform at this year’s event taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 17th-19th March 2023.
The Scottish singer-songwriter will be joining multiple Grammy nominated US rapper Travis Scott and legendary recording artist, producer, and DJ Afrojack on the weekend’s music line-up for biggest international sporting event of the year to take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The concert will take place on the Main Stage of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, F1’s longest and fastest street circuit.
Harris’ debut singles “Acceptable in the 80s” and “The Girls” both flew straight into the Top 10 in the UK upon release. However, he reached true international prominence in 2012 with the launch of his third studio album “18 months”.
Today, Harris is a figurehead for modern dance music, having broken world records and dominated the charts with hits such as “We Found Love” ft Rhianna, and “One Kiss” ft Dua Lipa. He has over 35 billion combined audio and video streams in his career history, making him one of the most viewed artists on YouTube and one of Sony Music's biggest streaming artists.
Over the last decade he’s worked with some of the world’s biggest artists including Rihanna, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, and Sam Smith to name a few. His work has garnered a number of top music awards and nominations, including 14 MTV VMA nominations and 2 wins, 5 Grammy nominations and a 2013 Grammy Award win in the Best Music Video category for “We Found Love”.
The addition of Harris to the line-up is just the start of what’s come at the FORMULA 1 STC SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 weekend. Fans will be treated to 3 whole days of world-class racing featuring the world’s greatest drivers as well as entertainment from the biggest names in music. Last year’s edition of the FORMULA 1 STC SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX proved to be one of the races of the season while the post-race entertainment on the Main Stage ensured the adrenaline kept flowing long after the last car returned to the pits.
With Calvin Harris now confirmed as the latest major headliner of the weekend, alongside Travis Scott and Afrojack, it is clear that the FORMULA 1 STC SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 will guarantee three days of non-stop thrills and excitement. It is definitely not to be missed!
