Dr. Dhananjay (Jay) Datar facilitates repatriation of Maharashtrians

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 22, 2020:   Dr. Dhananjay (Jay) Datar, Chairman & Managing Director of Al Adil Trading recently arranged two flights to repatriate stranded Maharashtrians to Mumbai and Pune. He arranged the repatriation of close to 400 people including labourers, those who lost their jobs, those suffering from various ailments etc., by utililising the services of Emirates and Flydubai. This is in addition to the more than 1000 Indians whose return to their home country was earlier facilitated by him in coordination with various bodies.  Dr. Datar has borne the complete ticket expense, COVID testing fees, food kit for all people  from the UAE who were repatriated. In addition, this time he has arranged one week all expense paid quarantine facility in Mumbai and Pune. This has been a personal initiative from his side to help those who are unable to meet the expenses in order to travel to our homeland. 

 

This is a CSR initiative from the side of Dr. Datar and so far he has spent more than a million dirham for this from his own fund. This is a sole Al Adil initiative and he does not depend on any other body or organisation to fund this initiative. To make this personal mission a success, he has enlisted the support of various approved bodies to facilitate the process. The support from Indian Consulate and numerous other welfare associations have helped him to execute this in a seamless manner. 


According to Dr. Datar, it is the responsibility of each and everyone of us to support our less fortunate brethren. “There are many people who are not in a financial position to meet the airfare and COVID testing fees since they do not have the required money. I have made it a mission to extend a helping hand to the neediest among the needy. I have made it a point to ensure that all necessary guidelines in connection with the repatriation process are strictly followed. I strongly believe that together we can overcome this situation.'
