As the festivities begin, the malls are all channelling the spirit of giving with a dedicated gifting station, merry entertainment, and spectacular décor 

Dubai, UAE, 22 December 2019:  As the most wonderful time of the year approaches,
Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, and City Centre Mirdif are bringing the jingle to the bells this season with a programme of activities designed to celebrate and encourage the heart-warming act of giving. With added opulence, glittering decorations, high-energy dance entertainment, and a special North Pole visitor, the scene is all set for visitors to share it forward and share a smile.

Leading up to 25 December with festivities and holiday flair, shoppers can step up to a dedicated gifting station located within each of the three malls and prepare a little something for their loved ones - or a person in need. At the station, visitors can donate personal items or in-mall purchases to the Emirates Red Crescent charity to be shared with those less fortunate. At the same space, shoppers can take part in gift wrapping workshops to perfect a beautiful ribbon bow, or simply hand over items bought at the mall to be wrapped by a pro. For the little ones, the gifting station offers an exciting digital game where kids hold a candy cane, direct it to wrap a gift on screen, and win candy as they score points.

The sharing doesn’t stop there. Shoppers at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, and 
City Centre Mirdif can also give the gift of SHARE rewards points to be spent across the entire ecosystem of Majid Al Futtaim brands when they spend on presents. And for customers who want to treat themselves, the SHARE rewards programme still allows them to earn points to spend personally. 

Wrapping up the festive celebrations, visitors to Mall of the Emirates can enjoy a festive show featuring everyone’s favourite winter characters from 7 December until 25 December, and even meet the white-bearded man himself.
